Quick Queerie: Ron Livingston suing over gay entry in Wikipedia

According to TMZ, “Office Space” star Ron Livingston is suing some unnamed person for repeatedly updating his Wikipedia article to state that he’s gay. Livingston, whose unkempt look and recent marriage to “United States of Tara” star Rosemarie DeWitt, screams that he’s straight.

The anonymous updater also links Livingston to Casting Director Lee Dennison (who people seem to doubt even exists) and, according to Livingston, the person has also created Facebook profiles for each of them stating that they’re a couple.

Wikipedia will probably have to give up the person’s identity for the suit to continue.

Queeries:
1) Ron, who have you pissed off and what do they have on you, if anything?
2) In this time of fanatical media coverage (see my Tiger Woods post), shouldn’t you be happy that this is all that’s being said about you?
3) If you’re securely hetero and married to a woman, why do you care so much? Is it that terrible to be rumored to be a homo? Popular, dare I say more A-list stars, like Will Smith, Tom Cruise, and Richard Gere have had rumors circling about them for years!
